Flight lessons for your instrument rating start at $70 /hour
Airplane rental (“wet” including fuel) is $140 /hour.

Lessons in your own airplane are subject to inspection and instructor approval.

The FAA requires that you have at least 40 hours of instrument flight training before taking
your instrument checkride.  There is no minimum age to take flight lessons, but you must
be at least 17 years old to get your instrument rating.
