Private pilot training is available starting at $70 per hour, with aircraft rental (wet, fuel included) at $140 per hour.

You can also train in your own airplane, provided it passes a safety inspection and is approved by an instructor.

FAA rules require a minimum of 40 hours of flight training before you can take your checkride. There’s no minimum age to begin lessons, but you must be at least 16 to fly solo and 17 to be issued a private pilot certificate.
